Back in July 2006, Sarah Anne Hargreaves and Damian Patrick Robinson legally (and finally) got married. This is a brief record of just some of the comings and goings to the big day(s). Thanks to everyone who made the days so special.

The Speeches

Before and during dinner, a few guests got up to say a few words. Normally, most speeches are soon forgotten - but I don't think that anyone will forget Mark's speech.

He must have been up there - on sat down on the steps, there - for about an hour. His mixture of demi-truths, an over-imaginative mind and far too much time on his hands, resulted in a speech that had the rest of the wedding party convinced I was in Grange Hill, befoe going onto have a successful career as a Page 7 Fella!

[I have asked him for a copy of his speech and will post it up here posterity]

Andrew got up (which was amazing as he had supped quite a bit beforehand) and said a few nice words (ditto). A copy of his speech will appear anon.

And myself, Pete and Sarah all got up at some stage and spoke. Unfortunately, no copies of our speeches exist - as none were written. But the main message was just to thank everyone for making the day so special. That, and the free bar was only open til midnight!
